Land Art is what could define interaction with Land.
Away from utilitarian use of space and land, Art is a posture than enbles poetry in our everyday's ritual dance with Earth.
Earth speaks the language of Beauty
Uses patterns of sacred proportions,
and Land Art answers with the same language.
Offering pathways for energies,
Outlining the beauty of a tree,
Rendering the invisible poetically manifest.
Saint Claude will offer a tremendous playground,
And invites our cocreation at the occasion of
INNER & OUTER LANDSCAPES, 10-17 October, with the fantastic landscapes artist and environment architect Lilian Sum.
Lillian is a very inspired builder and designer that has crafted wonders throughout the Himalayas and Bihar/Bodhgaya area.
With her guidance we will work with the elements through the shapes of the Cave, the deeply magickal Forest around it, and erect a stupa - one amongst 108 Lillian is on the process of building around the world to support Evolution.
What to expect
Willow, copper, stones, crystals and above all our cores will be weaved in the palm of the Land.
Visualisation and manifestation through listening to our Heart - Body - Awareness.
To Tune into the Art of Being as a beautiful reference point to be cultivated during this time together.
An opportunity to participate in an immersive journey connecting us to dreamtime beyond time and space. To delve into the Inner and outer landscapes, to co create with nature and with the elements.
An exploratory experience through the senses, drawing on our inspirations to create contemplative arts on the beautiful, inspiring and magical Land of St Claude.
Practicalities
- The Journey will begin on the 10th of September - check in in Villars at 5pm CEST. Pin and advices for transportation (easy from Nice town and airport alike) will be sent with registration.
- We will conclude on the 17th evening, with yet the possibility to stay overnight and transition smoothly on the 18th morning.
- The exchange is 320€ comprising facilitation from Lillian and Olivier, food, camping on the Land, 3 meals a day.

My work is inspired by the dynamics of colour and light, the effects on one's sensory perception and ‘Exploring the Human relation to the environment'. Actively researching ways to heighten and broaden awareness of human development through multi-disciplinary arts.
Creating spaces for enhancing reflection and meditation-engaging the mind to reach states of heightened awareness. Some of these creations have been in response to Climate Crisis (CC) and to raise awareness of disaster resilience.
Previous works have explored colour, light, form in 2D and 3D; paintings, prints, VJ, video art/ projections, sculptures and site-specific installations, as a solo artist and in collaboration with other artists, musicians, scientist, ecologists.
My love for the Himalayan regions has provided the fuel for my creative practice over the last decade, incorporating natural and locally sourced materials to create large scale installations, landscapes; permaculture solutions, gardens and land arts.
Architecture specialising in vernacular structures, environmental solutions, interior design, and spatial design consultancy.
Delivered creative learning and environmental education projects aiming to stimulate the senses, redefining the social connection with our inner and outer worlds and the value of what we consider as sacred resources.
Some workshops have engaged participating groups in the dialogue and design of creating their sustainable communities. These have been implemented far and wide, working in collaboration with diverse groups and individuals at grassroots, government, institutions at international level in UK, EU, Mexico and South and East Asia.
My aim is to encourage international and local communities to be part of the solution, to become aware, savvy and resilient to the impacts of CC. Yet encouraging the development of one's sensory awareness and refining our clarity of mind to guide us to be authentically present in our environments.

My world is pervaded by Love-in-Action in all its forms :
Applied spirituality and inspired action, meditation, music and writing. Care of the Earth.
Standing wholeheartedly for the coming ones, including as a father and former schoolteacher.
I spent a good part of this life asserting the view of interdependence, the Beauty of Nature, Kosmos, through Music, scientific (astrophysics/cosmology) study and lectures, and facilitating from primary to permaculture schools to transformative spaces.
My path has crossed from very early exoteric and esoteric Christianity, Sufism and Vedic traditions, yet it’s essentially through Tibetan, Vajrayana Buddhism, Aurobindo’s Integral Yoga and the Yoga of Synthesis as pervading the works of Helena Blavatsky, Nicholas and Helena Roerich, Alice Bailey and, for the last decade, Bruce Lyon that I felt “Home”.
I stand for the assertion of the Soul principle, not only per se, but also as the primordial ingredient of the dawning Civilisation.
From the depth of the Unknowable at its Core, to the radiant and Loving Consciousness “soularising” our inner and outer worlds, to the landing of this Principle into a tender gesture on the cheek of a child, a song, an essay, a dance or souvenirs of the future like food forests and organic buildings.
A Love story between Space, Soul and Soil that manifested a heaven for soul-based education and permaculture design over my hometown of Nice, South East of France. And ignites a newer land project centred on meditation closer to the mountains : Saint-Claude.
My stand is dedication to the Earth. Its Evolution. The Soul’s ability to birth and reveal Beauty everywhere it looks and acts.
And, from Saint-Claude, playing my fullest part in a Soul Revolution reinventing life on Earth.
